THIS COURSE WAS RECORDED ON August 15, 2022. This webinar will help private practice PTs increase revenue in their practice while also better preparing for success in the movement toward alternative payment models. Annie Cloke will discuss aspects of many alternative payment models that provide a "population health" payment as part of a new payment structure that also includes fee for service and risk-based quality payments. Mike Eisenhart will discuss applicable tools, methodologies and technologies being used by PT practices and clinics as they transition to population level services (including monitoring, coaching, reporting and more). The population health payment stream could be linked with new remote therapeutic monitoring CPT codes 98975, 98976, 98977, 98980, and 98981. Therapeutic monitoring codes were newly implemented in 2022 and clinics are looking to find ways to implement these codes in clinical care. While these codes have been recognized with Relative Value Units (RVUs), they have not generally been paid for by private payers and Medicare.
